What is it?
Each kit is intentionally curated around a theme of identity, justice, or lived experience. Every kit is designed to support banned/challenged authors, encourage critical thinking and conversation, make activism accessible through reading, and provide tangible ways to show where you stand.
What's included?
Kits are not only curated by theme, but also by level of activism. Choose your theme first, then choose where you are right now in your activism journey.

Why?
Book bans don’t protect children. They protect systems. When stories about race, queerness, and injustice are removed, so are the people who live those stories. Resistance Reader Kits exist to keep banned books in circulation, support authors who are being targeted, build empathy through lived experience, and turn reading into a form of protest because silence has never been neutral.
